 Flagstone is typically used as paving slabs but has also been used as dry or mortared retaining walls, a mortared on facing for concrete walls, steps, and fireplaces. Flagstone has also been used as headstones in cemeteries as well as roofing for ancient buildings. Flagstone can be easily cut or split into layers.
